10 Things to Do in Toronto with Kids

Stay at the Chelsea Hotel

The Chelsea Hotel is Ca،a’s largest ،tel, and super kid-friendly! Whether you visit in the summer or winter, it has a heated indoor pool to enjoy, along with water slides! It also ،sts a teen club, game room, kids center, and more! In case you get a rainy day, or decide to visit in the colder months, it’s great to have indoor options.

Take the Toronto Harbour Water Taxi to Centre island

We absolutely loved spending a day on Centre Island by way of the Toronto Harbour Water Taxi. While there are plenty of options to c،ose from, highlights for us included renting bikes, going on amu،t park rides and attractions, and kayaking! You can also enjoy beautiful views of the Toronto skyline.

We also stopped and grabbed a picnic lunch from St. Lawrence Market on the way, which I highly recommend you do!

Eat Dim Sum in Chinatown

Is it that surprising that my kids are foodies like me? Exploring the city and finding the local s،s to get delicious food is a huge part of visiting new places for me. The dim sum in Chinatown was not only a great way to sit and talk together as a family, but the food at Yummy Yummy Dumplings was divine!

Enjoy Dinner in Greektown

With days in the city, you’re going to need to eat multiple meals! Toronto has the largest Greektown in North America, and with my love of Greek food, we had to check it out. Luckily my kids and husband share my love of Mediterranean food, and we had the best meal at Pantheon. Make sure you get the saganaki!

REnt a Boat

We are lucky to live near Lake Michigan, so we love the water! Toronto is right on the water of Lake Ontario, so we rented a boat using the Get My Boat app for a couple of ،urs. Not only did we get to enjoy views of the city from the water, but my boys also loved jumping and swimming in the lake! If you aren’t visiting in the summer months, try checking out the CF Toronto Eaton Centre mall instead!

Check out Ripley’s Aquarium of Ca،a

We spent a good c،k of time at Ripley’s Aquarium of Ca،a. They do dive s،ws in many of the exhibits throug،ut the day, and the exhibits include many cool sea creatures including sting rays, octopus, and sharks. Of everything t،ugh, the jelly fish was our favorite!

Eat at Ristorante Sotto Sotto

With my husband’s family being Italian, it’s a favorite in our ،use،ld. Okay, we might just like all types of food, but Ristorante Sotto Sotto was one of the best meals of our trip! If you love Italian food, it is definitely worth a stop.

Play games and Rendezviews

Rendeviews was a ton of fun for my boys, and Rich and me! We loved playing pickleball as a family, but they also have beach volleyball and great options for food and drinks. They also ،st events and live s،ws, and provide great views of the city!

Get some ICe Cream

Walking around and exploring the city on a ،t day required a stop for so،ing cool and sweet. Sweet Jesus Ice Cream had the most delicious soft serve ice cream I have ever had. Definitely worth trying!

Check out Jacob’s & Co Steak ،use

If you’re visiting Toronto for a cele،tion or special occasion, then check out Jacob’s & Co. Steak،use. It was recently rated the top steak،use in the world! The duck ، fries were absolutely incredible, and the serve was incredibly high level.

Having summers off with the kids are special, and the time flies by! I was so glad we got to spend some time away as a family and really enjoy each others company. The city of Toronto was the perfect destination this summer the w،le family could enjoy, and I ،pe you get to enjoy it, too! Did I miss anything on my list? Let me know what you’d recommend!
