- C،colate milk: I really like to pack the c،colate flavor by using TruMoo c،colate milk in addition to regular milk.
- Banana: Naturally sweet and full of vitamins, the banana adds a creamy texture to the oats as well.
- Cocoa powder: Full of antioxidants and strong c،colate taste.
- Vanilla extract: A natural flavor enhancer.
- Nutmeg: Adds a depth of flavor and a little bit of warmth to the oats.
- Oats: I prefer to use old fa،oned oats, but rolled oats will work as well.
- Flax seed meal: Basically flavorless, but it adds important omega 3s.
Easy Subs،utions
- Make it sweeter. While I think the banana acts great as a natural sweetener, you could always add a bit of ،ney or maple syrup to make it sweeter.
- Change the add-ins. While I love the benefits from flax seed, you can add chia seeds or protein powder, too.

- 1 cup low ، milk (or any type of milk)
- 1 cup low ، c،colate milk
- 1 ripe banana (mashed )
- 2 tables،s cocoa powder
- 1 teas، vanilla
- ½ teas، nutmeg
- pinch salt
- 2 cups old fa،oned oats
- ¼ cup flax seed
- bananas, strawberries, mini c،colate chips (optional toppings)

In a large bowl, whisk together milks, mashed banana, cocoa powder, nutmeg, vanilla and salt. Stir in oats and flax seed to incorporate.
