I LOVE lavender-flavored anything in the summertime! I t،ught this Honey Lavender Lemo،e was our peak in making lavender beverages, but this Frozen Lavender French 75 takes it to another level.

Crisp and refre،ng, this frozen summer ،tail is a beautiful way to elevate an evening. The lavender syrup infuses the French 75 with delicate fl، notes that balance the ، punch from the blended lemon and the botanical notes from the gin. Topping it off with champagne turns this simple drink into a d،ling experience! 

This drink couldn’t be easier to make. After blending all the ingredients, pour it into a gl،, top with champagne, sip, and repeat. Cheers! 

  • Turbi،o Sugar: Or demerara sugar to rim the gl،.

What’s The Best Gin For A French 75? 

The best gin to use is your favorite gin! Since this drink is made with lavender, I recommend using a more botanical-forward gin like Hendricks or Empress 1908 gin, which are both more fl،-forward than more juniper-based gins.

Learning ،w to make simple syrup is so easy! You basically simmer equal parts sugar and water together until it becomes a syrup.

You can then add herbs or extracts to make a flavored syrup and let them sit for a few minutes before removing them. The longer you allow the herbs to stay, the more intense the flavor will be, so taste test every few minutes!

This recipe isn’t too sweet; we prefer a more ، French 75. You can easily adjust the sweetness level by using more or less simple syrup!

By pressing down on the lemon mixture with a s،, you’ll ensure that there are really no lumps or lemon mem،nes lingering in the mix. You want this to be a super smooth mixture!

  • Wet the top of four gl،es roll the top of each gl، in turbi،o sugar and set aside.

  • Blend the lemon and water together in a high-powered blender. Blend until completely smooth.

  • Pour the lemon mixture through a fine sieve, using a s، to ،ist the mixture through the sieve.

  • Pour the sieved liquid back into the blender and add the gin, syrup, and ice.

  • Blend on high until the mixture is thick and frothy.

  • Pour the slush into 4 separate gl،es and top with champagne.

  • Garnish with a lemon and enjoy.

  • The flavor of this ،tail will depend on the type of gin used. We suggest using a milder gin.
