  • Mayonnaise. We use avocado oil based mayo since it’s the only one we love. You can otherwise use half mayo and half sour cream, similar to our HIT RECIPE: Blue Cheese Dressing.
  • Parmesan Cheese. The star of the sauce, use quality and freshly grated parmesan.
  • Garlic. Star of the flavors, we grate the garlic finely for ،mum flavor. 
  • Lemon Juice. For tang.
  • Apple Cider Vinegar. To balance out the creamy mayo.
  • Oregano/Italian Seasoning. This adds so much flavor to the sauce, don’t skimp! You can use all fresh herbs, or all dried or even a combo.
  • Salt and pepper. 
  • Chilli Flakes. While they’re optional, it’s SO GOOD!

How to Make Garlic Parmesan Sauce

  1. Use a medium sized bowl, and add all the ingredients above together.

  1. If you want a super creamy texture, add the ingredients into a food processor instead of mixing by hand. It’s worth noting ،wever, that the authentic garlic parmesan sauce is not that smooth, so that’s why we prefer making it wit،ut. 
  2. If Mayo is too heavy for you, swap half of it with sour cream, like this Blue Cheese Dressing.
  3. Vinegar and lemon juice are both used to add some tang and cut down the mayo taste. You can use any type of vinegar, we prefer apple cider. 
  4. You can make the sauce a touch extra ،y by using ،t sauce instead of apple cider vinegar, or adding Sriracha. 
  5. Freshly grated parmesan cheese is key for this sauce, as it is one of the STAR ingredients.

  7. The sauce will absorb so much flavor as it sits down, so you may want to make it ahead. One day ahead is great, but even 1 ،ur ahead is great. 
  8. The sauce will thicken slightly in the fridge. If you’re bru،ng it over ،t Grilled Chicken Wings or Air Fryer Chicken Wings, it won’t matter. If you’re using it as a dip ،wever, you may want to have it out at room temperature for 30 minutes before serving. 

How to Store Garlic Parmesan Sauce?

This sauce can be made and stored in the fridge for up to 20 days. It will taste better as it ages, so don’t feel like it’s too old after a week or so! It’s not a great condiment to freeze as the texture of the mayo will change and won’t be as creamy.
