💭 Expert Tips

  • Make a big batch: This parmesan truffle fries recipe can easily be doubled to feed a crowd or large family.
  • There’s no need to ،l your ،atoes before c،pping; the skin will crisp up nicely in the oven.
  • To properly cut your ،atoes, place each ،ato on its end and cut down lengthwise into thin slices. From here, cut each slice into fry shapes (about 1/3-1/2 inch wide)
  • Make sure to keep your truffled parmesan fries ،ed evenly on the baking sheet – you don’t want them tou،g each other or piled on top of each other, or they won’t get crispy! Truffled pomme frites placed in a single layer on the baking sheet will result in crispy fries. Fries bunched up, or piled on the baking sheet will steam your fries and make them soggy.
  • The truffle oil you use matters! You want to find an all natural truffle oil vs. a synthetic truffle oil. The natural truffle oil will have a more complex flavor and won’t be as pungent, while a synthetic truffle oil will be stronger and will have a more pungent, one-note type flavor.

📖 Variations

  • Make Greek Fries: Add some c،pped cherry tomatoes, diced onions, and c،bled feta on top to turn these into Mediterranean inspired fries!
  • Different Spices: You can also easily switch up the flavor of these garlic truffle fries by getting creative with seasonings and garnishes! A splash of fresh lemon juice, a dash of ground pepper, or a sprinkle of truffle salt can take these fries to the next level!
  • Vegan Truffle French Fries: Just use a vegan parmesan cheese and youll have vegan parm fries!
  • Use A Different Cheese: You can make truffle asiago fries by swit،g out the parm for asiago, or try other sharp cheeses like a sharp cheddar, pepperjack, or even gruyere.

How do you store truffle french fries?

These baked truffle french fries taste the best when they’re fresh out of the oven. If you have leftover fries you can store them in the fridge in an airtight container for up to 3 days but they won’t taste as good reheated (even if you heat them in the oven).
